Abstract INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, ORGANIZED RETAILING, INNOVATION, COMPETITION, DISTRIBUTION The master thesis examines concepts of Modern Information Technology and possibilities to use them in organized retailing as the level of competition in retail business have been intensified what leads to stimulate retailers to reposition and diversify their retail formats, and innovate in their distribution systems. The thesis contains structured information regarding the components, management, evolution and strategies of organized retailing, as well as implementing modern Information Technology into retailing to make customers even more engaged, while also making their lives simpler. The master thesis describes integration process of modern Information Technology into organized retailing based on innovative technologies and solutions. Analysing the current situation in Retail industry regarding Information Technologies. Taking into account results of the research and analysed data, the master thesis offers applicable way for integration of modern Information Technology into organized Retailing of small and medium size enterprises. The master thesis contains 71 pages, 16 figures and 88 reference sources.
