Abstract This bachelor thesis researches the possibility to use video games as a teaching tool in schools and universities, allowing for more interactive and hands-on learning process. The theoretical part contains information about suitable video game genres, examples of existing educational video games and research data about recent trends in virtual and augmented reality. The practical part shows process of implementation of an educational video game using Unity for studies of basics of artificial intelligence. It contains full documentation of the requirements, code (in appendices) and user manual. This bachelor thesis contains 57 pages, 17 images, 4 tables, 64 reference sources and 5 appendices.
