| Anotācija |
The title of the given master thesis is The development of methods to increase efficiency of Riga TEC-1. The goal of this master thesis is to explore the operation of TEC-1, to determine the optimal method of operation of power plant, the key points underlying the choice of equipment units and the distribution between the chosen units and the use of the equipment units in order to develop a proposal to increase the efficiency of TEC-1. The objective of this master thesis is:
1.To determine the reasonable choice of the equipment, taking into account the conditions of electricity and heat market;
2.The criteria for determination of the optimal operation regime of TEC-1;
3.To determine the efficiency of TEC-1 operating with the given parameters (the evaluation of the efficiency of TEC-1 operation).
The current situation in Latvia and European Union in the field of cogeneration power plants is analyzed in the theoretical and practical part of the graduation thesis. There is a proposal developed in all details for increasing efficiency of one of the largest power plants in Latvia by installation of additional equipment.
The master thesis consists of 3 chapters, the list of literature sources and several appendixes. The work is written in English, provides 73 pages of text, 32 figures, 33 tables and 26 literature sources quoted in the work. |
