Anotācija |
The master thesis examines the cold chain process and how it can be implemented in case of covid vaccine distribution. The thesis contains information regarding the technolo- gies prevailing in the field of cold chain logistics, the key challenges faced in cold chain lo- gistics, the covid vaccines which are approved by reputed health organisations and a pro- posed model for the vaccine distribution. Also methodologies such as survey was used by the author to identify the challenges such as vaccine nationalism. Also weighted sum method using criteria selected by the author was used to select better real time monitoring systems and temperature data loggers through comparison respectively. The results of the thesis pro- vides a practical model which is applicable in the process of distribution of each covid vac- cine approved by health organisations which were considered separately. Also the analysis carried out post model creation helps in identifying the benefits and limitations as well.
The master thesis contains 95 pages, 30 figures, 3 tables, 84 reference sources and 4 appendix. |
