| Abstract |

The Thesis, mainly, consists of two parts: the Analytical part and the Practical part. The main goal of the Bachelor Thesis is to detect factors that should be considered, setting up a new hotel business in Latvia and to analyze opportunities for improving service quality in Latvian hotels.
The Analytical part includes review of hotel industry in Latvia, Baltic states and other European countries, comparison of Latvian hotel industry with neighbouring countries, analysis of competitive advantage among other countries.
The Practical part involves the description of research design and the analysis of survey results. The main goal of the research was to analyse the expectations of the potential guests of Latvian hotels and to find the main factors that influence customer satisfaction in hotel industry. |
