Abstract In modern blockchain systems, multi-signature wallets are used to manage digital assets and automate authorization however, many common multi-signature wallets allow transactions to be executed immediately after the confirmation threshold is reached, which reduces the time available to detect user mistakes, compromised keys, or coordinated malicious approvals. This thesis aims to enhance security in multi-signature wallets for blockchain technology by designing, implementing, and evaluating an secure solution prototype that enforces a predefined delay between approval threshold and transaction execution, providing a window for review and allowing authorized cancellation including an guardian role, while maintaining improved security compared to traditional approaches. The proposed architecture separates consent from effect: proposals gather confirmations, arm a programmable delay (ETA), remain cancellable during the window, and become permissionlessly executable once elapsed. A Solidity contract deployed on Sepolia is integrated with a lightweight backend event listener and a web application. The evaluation validates functional correctness and security properties, and compares the proposed prototype against a baseline solutions.
