Abstract Abstract The author of the Bachelor Paper is Jūlija Kozlovska. The title of the Bachelor Paper is ‘Creative Aspects of Translation’. The Practical Part is the translation of the text taken from the book ‘Know What You Don’t Know. How Great Leaders Prevent Problems Before They Happen’ by Michael A. Roberto. The author of the Bachelor Paper considered the notion of creativity, analyzed the theoretical literature on creativity in translation and applied various translation methods during the process of translation in order to achieve an equivalent and reader-friendly translation. In the Bachelor Paper the author tried to prove the importance of background knowledge and knowledge of the subject for any successful translator. Creativity skills can be acquired only with practice. The process of searching equivalent phrases during the process of translation is always creative and requires time and patience. The total volume of the Bachelor Paper is 90 pages, number of items in the Bibliography 28, number of Appendices 3: The English Source Text, Glossary of Terminology 76 items and Glossary of Abbreviations 14 items.
