Abstract The Master Thesis examines the concepts of supply chain 4.0 approaches to improve the manufacturing, agriculture, food supply using latest supply chain trends, methodologies, and technologies. The thesis contains structured information regarding supply chain components, framework, benefits, and challenges of conventional supply chain management, further focuses on technological innovations and supply chain framework to be integrated with business to practice safe and smart behaviour. The master thesis describes integration of technologies to the current supply chain trends, analysis of the necessity for the embracing of technology and SCM framework. Considering of the various global and regional trends, analysis and survey data, the master thesis offers an applicable way for the embracing of sustainability and improve supply chain management. The master thesis contains 129 pages, 34 images, 16 tables, 99 reference sources and an appendix.
