Abstract E-commerce is an inevitable topic in today's business world, especially under the pandemic in recent years. From the emergence of e-commerce to its development, the entire business society has undergone subversive changes, and its influence has swept the world. As an important pillar of e-commerce, software systems play an important and irreplaceable role in the process of implementing e-commerce. First of all, this master's thesis made a general review of systems engineering, software engineering, and systems thinking. Secondly, the use of scientific analysis methods to make a detailed analysis of the software development life cycle models. Then, a general review of e-commerce and a comparative analysis of the software life cycle models used in the development of B2C e-commerce systems are carried out. Finally, the analysis results obtained before being implemented in real-world B2C e-commerce projects.
