||The Bachelor's thesis " Selection of air handling unit for office buildings " consists of a theoretical part and an engineering project written by Arthur Ageev.
Nowadays, building construction requires energy-efficient, economical and environmentally friendly solutions, and office buildings can no longer be designed without a mechanical supply / exhaust system with recuperation. The use of such systems with heat recovery helps both to reduce electricity and heating costs, as well as to ensure a suitable microclimate in the working place.
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to perform an analysis of the operation of air handling units in order to select the most efficient solution for office buildings.
The Bachelor's thesis deals with indoor air quality standards, regulations and calculations, as well as describes the selection criteria for air handling units for offices.
The Bachelor's thesis including the project part is written in Latvian, and consists of 59 pages. The work includes 4 drawings, 23 figures, 23 tables and 2 appendices. 31 literature sources are used in the work. In the course of the work, it has been concluded that in order to choose the most efficient solution when designing office buildings with air handling units, the technical specifics of ventilation equipment must be taken into account.
