Abstract A new approach to get higher efficiency of frequency modulated inductive-resonant wireless power transfer system (WPT) is proposed in the thesis. The approach is verified by using simulations. The approach based on utilization of resonant tank with electronically switchable capacitors to get different resonant frequencies. The approach gives us a possibility to sufficiently improve efficiency and moderately reduce RMS currents at the cost of slightly increased size and cost of the system. The thesis is written in English and consists of 63 pages, 37 figures, 4 tables, 3 annex, 64 references.
