Abstract This thesis deals with the use of variable pulse width technique in inductive resonant wireless power transfer systems to reduce conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI). The effect of variable pulse width technique on conducted EMI reduction, efficiency and peak-to-peak output ripple voltage is studied in details in the thesis. The wireless power transfer system is studied by using simulation in PSIM and experimentally. Paper is written in English and consist of 62 pages of text, 51 figures, 10 tables, 70 references.
