DIGITILIZATION APPROACH FOR TEXTILE MANUFACTURING IN INDIA
India has 2nd highest population in the world. There are two types of traditional industries in India. Agriculture and textile. Textile industry which provides lots of opportunities for skilled and unskilled labours, if we compare opportunities amongst agriculture. India has got 11% of export share in textile industry in International market, as well as the 4th most stable market. But still in the textile industries are facing some problems in manufacturing, logistics, information technologies. The main impact of information technologies on enhancing supply and logistics management, the impact of textile industry struggling for finding solution for the current situations in textile manufacturing industry in India. This is to bring up the best way to increase and enhances the textile industry development in information technologies in Indian textile industry. The basic idea and aim of this study is to show the importance of IT and supply chain management, the outcome indicate that the textile companies to be aware of the lack of awareness in IT and supply chain management. This effects the relation between firm logistics, vendor relationship management procurement, operation, marketing and customer relationship management. The figure shows that the important role of the study regarding each element specified above the manufactures should be aware of the importance and utilizing technologies to control labours, quality and save more profits as well as utilizing employees in better way to support supply chain performance |
