These decisions can lead to a satisfied customer, especially when dealing with e-commerce business which deals with perishable goods. In this master thesis, the objective is to research and analyse several traditional facility location methods and software solutions that could be used to locate facilities for e-commerce business. Many regional factors will be reviewed which could affect facility location decision. With the help of these approaches and excel based solver, experiments will be conducted for the case study of BigBasket.com, which is a grocery e-commerce store in India, and the obtained results will be analysed to design an efficient distribution network with four new warehouses and one central distribution centre.
