Abstract The goal of the master thesis is to perform a comparative analysis of modern virtual currencies and payment solutions in the area of electronic commerce. The main attention is devoted to the Bitcoin technology by analyzing the principles, trends, benefits, as well as the weakness of this technology. The middle section is focused on the use of the technology in e-commerce payment methods, and the ease of management between consumers and suppliers. The end of the thesis will discuss the tested and developed concept for an efficient integration of virtual currencies into B2C e-commerce payments systems. The master thesis contains 93 pages, 35 images, 13 tables, and 34 references sources.
