Abstract ABSTRACT The Master Thesis examines the concepts of innovative approaches to improve the warehousing functionality, using modern Information Technology and Total Quality Management (TQM). The Thesis contains structured information regarding the components, architecture, benefits and drawbacks of conventional warehouses, further it focuses on technological innovations and TQM framework to be integrated with warehouses to make it smart warehouses. The Master Thesis describes integration process of technology and TQM into warehouse operations. Using data from the recent article references and Journals relevant to the current warehouse trends, analysis of the necessity for the implementation of technology and TQM framework in small and medium size warehouses is performed. Taking into account results of the research and survey data, the master thesis offers an applicable way for the integration of smart technology along with TQM into small and medium-size conventional warehouses. The master thesis contains 113 pages, 51 images, 10 tables and 67 reference sources.
