Šajā darbā ir aplūkotas kuģu elektroenerģētika un elektropiedziņas. Pirmajā daļā ir aplūkotas elektroenerģētikas sistēmas vispārīgie raksturojumi, tās pamata radītāji un veidi. Otrajā daļā ir aprakstīti kuģu elektropiedziņas veidi un to izmantošana.
