Abstract The Master Thesis consists of introduction, analytical, theoretical, scientific & practical parts, conclusions, list of references and appendices. The Introduction part consists of the basic definitions, thesis main goal, research objectives, research subject, research object, research questions and hypothesis. The Analytical part includes the literature reviews of past research showing how 1. FDI influences an economy through macroeconomic indicators, 2. Statistical review of Nigerian economy through indicators like inflation, GDP, unemployment, export/import, FDI, average income improvement and economy structure etc. 3. FDI inflow into the Nigerian economy, 4. Factors that facilitates the inflow of FDI into the Nigeria. The purpose of this chapter is to provide an introductory insight on the thesis topicality, aim and tasks. The Theoretical part describes the empirical research carried out on the research topic. The Author analyses the models of economic improvement, the role of FDI in economic improvement and theoretical aspects of the FDI impact on an economy. The Scientific and Practical part consists of the analysis of the interrelations between macroeconomic indicators in Nigeria and Estimation of the FDI impact on the Nigerian economy. The practical parts include correlation analysis and analysis of interdependences by VAR. Overall given us survey results that show the impact of FDI on the Nigerian economic improvement.
